Born in Ankara, Turkey, Dr. Yunus Sağlam graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, one of the most prestigious medical schools in Turkey, after ranking top in the nationwide medical school entrance exam in 2009.

Following his medical education, Dr. Sağlam completed his residency in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Karadeniz Technical University between 2016 and 2022. During this period, he gained extensive experience in a wide range of procedures, including facial trauma, oncological facial surgery, facial reconstruction, facial and nasal aesthetics, and microsurgery. He also spent the final year of his residency at Cleveland, USA, where he collaborated with renowned facial surgeon Prof. Dr. Bahman Guyuron.

After completing his residency, Dr. Sağlam worked as a specialist in Rize between 2022 and 2024. He provided services to thousands of patients, specializing in brow lifts, forehead lifts, mid-face lifts, face and neck lifts, and rhinoplasty.

Dr. Sağlam believes in challenging the status quo in medicine and has conducted numerous scientific studies in his areas of interest, microsurgery and facial surgery. In 2018, he completed his microsurgery training and developed a novel technique for nerve repair, which he presented at the National Plastic Surgery Congress. In 2022, he introduced the "Saglam Method" for Z-plasty, a fundamental technique in plastic surgery, and published his findings in the PRS Journal, one of the most prestigious plastic surgery journals worldwide.

Focusing primarily on facial and nasal aesthetics, Dr. Sağlam has attended numerous training programs and workshops. In 2021, he participated in a rhinoplasty training program led by Dr. Barış Çakır and consulted with renowned facial aesthetic surgeons such as Dr. Ozan Bitik, Dr. Metin Kerem, and Dr. Karaca Başaran to enhance his expertise in facelifts. In 2023, he spent a month collaborating with Dr. Mehmet Gencer, gaining invaluable experience in facial aesthetics. Furthermore, he attended cadaver workshops in Milan, Italy, in 2023 and 2024, led by esteemed professors such as Dr. Nayak, Dr. Pelle, Dr. Botti, and Dr. Auersvald.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Sağlam enjoys rowing and CrossFit. He is happily married to Süsen and has a daughter, Dide, and a dog, Pala.
